I’ll answer any questions you may have below in the comment section, or you can just pop in and say hi ☆⌒(≧▽° )
Can you/will you/are you going to translate *insert CD name*?
Unfortunately, no. Unless it’s displayed in the sidebar, chances are, I will not be translating said CD any time in the near future. I don’t take requests since I’m already on a really tight schedule (I am a full-time student with a part-time job) and have to forcibly make time in order to translate.
Translations are labors of love and I work to provide a steady stream of them at my own expense, so if possible, I’d like you to respect my time.
That said, my commissions are currently open so if there’s something you really wanted translated, that option is available to you.
How did you learn Japanese? Any tips?
I’m sure you’ve heard it before, but the simple answer is immersion.
Personally, I’m a person who hates studying, so yeah, I kinda picked up my Japanese along the way over the years from drama CDs, games, visual novels, etc. and going absolute ham with translating (though I would not recommend it for sanity’s sake).
The more you use it, the better you get at it, that’s all I can really say.
Where/How do you buy CDs?
Digital Options: DLsite JP, Pokedora (streaming only)
Physical Options: Stellaworth, Animate
Proxies (if you find Japanese daunting): FromJapan, Buyee, Zenmarket
Forwarding Services (if you choose to purchase directly): Tenso

Why is there a disclaimer before every post?
It is there to acknowledge that I, like anyone else, am susceptible to mistakes.
While the translations should be overall accurate, I cannot discount the possibility of human error when transcribing, interpreting, translating, and typing the scripts.
On the Issue of Reposters
Do they have permission? The simple answer is no.
In particular, there has been a trend regarding Youtube.
At the end of the day, the effects on me are limited and it’s generally evident that the people in question aren’t able to produce their own translations. However, due to Youtube’s nature, the same can’t be said for the circles and labels of the works involved.
I ask you to refer any offending videos to the original creators ー they are the rightful copyright holders and also the ones most affected, especially when the uploaders use some cringy, clickbaity title and fail to even leave a single mention of the actual work. It can be extremely disheartening considering the view-counts/comments on them, especially for the small circles you find on DLsite.
Of course, as always, please remember to support the original creators!
