西園寺三兄弟

Special Story Side: Saionji

I must select one person out of the three.

Only within this household would such ridiculous, pride-ridden logic exist.

・・・

We were on our way back from a party, not before the breakdown of our limousine set off a chain of events.

There was only a short distance before we reached the house, so as we walked there on foot, I rebuked Fuji’s complaints, but―― as luck would have it, we were struck by passing rain.

“Jeez, this is why I said to call another car.”

By the time we managed to dash inside, we were all soaking wet. The dress that was prepared for this day was ruined. Of course, the tuxedos the three were wearing were no different.

“Ugh, I’m all wet. I don’t like this.”

“It’s fun when there are surprises like this when the four of us are here.”

“How is this a surprise? This is a disaster.”

The one who’s openly displeased is Fuji, the one who’s smiling and grinning is Ran, and the one who’s changing without a moment’s delay is Gen.

I hastily grabbed bath towels and handed them to the three.

After I finished heating the bath and went to change my own clothes, that’s when it happened.

“Miss Housekeeper. Should I help you change?”

Said Ran, who had already changed into a white shirt with a gentle smile. But as his eyes narrowed suspiciously, I had a bad premonition. I passed his offer and as just I began heading out into the living room…

“Come here.”

Ran’s low voice echoed. A low voice that did not allow refusal.

I did not know why, but my body stopped moving.

“I’ve had this thought since I got home. You’re quite sexy today, Miss Housekeeper.”

Ran slowly approached me and cornered me into the wall.

“Don’t worry, I won’t bite.”

He took me into a kind embrace and I lost all semblance of what to do. And while I was squirming around, Ran kissed my cheeks and reached for the ribbon on my neck with his hand.

“I figured this dress would be difficult to take off on your own.”

The chord on my ribbon slowly unraveled. And as I attempt to hide the skin that was about to be exposed…

“Are you embarrassed? How cute.”

I could feel Ran’s breaths against my ears each time he spoke.

“Hey Ran, what are you doing? I’ll help her change. Step aside.”

“Also, there’s no need for you to be that close. Get off.”

Fuji’s and Gen’s displeased voices entered my ears. Meanwhile, Ran couldn’t care less about the two. He just laughed without a care in the world.

“Am I not allowed to be close to her?”

“Of course not!”

“Why? Are you jealous?”

“I’m not jealous or anything.”

“And also, Gen, you’ve been eyeing Miss Housekeeper’s body this past while, haven’t you? How lewd. Don’t you agree, Miss Housekeeper?”

“W-What!? I wasn’t looking!”

“Really? Well, Fuji was too.”

“I-I-I-I did not look!”

Again Ran made a sound with his throat as Fuji’s and Gen’s cheeks began somewhat blushing.

“Oh, I got an idea! Why don’t we all have fun together?

“Hah!? What are you talking about?

“You should know without me saying it. Isn’t that right, Miss Housekeeper?”

The sickly-sweet voice squeezed my heart. And when I looked up towards Ran…

“Miss Housekeeper, you’re already used to this, aren’t you?”

Ran then showed a little smile and gave me a peck.

“Don’t kiss her so casually!”

“And don’t just stand there. Run!”

Gen rushed forth and pulled me away from Ran. He then proceeded to hug me as though to hide me from Ran as he glared at him.

“The only one who’s allowed to touch her is me.”

“Hah? The only one who’s allowed to touch the housekeeper is, I, the great Fuji.”

“If that’s what you say then I’ll return back the same lines to you.”

“What are you saying? She is mine, got it?”

“Tch, she belongs to, I, the great Fuji.”

“No. Miss Housekeeper is mine. Besides, with this face, how could she choose anyone but me.”

“And out it comesー. One could call that excessive self-consciousnessー.”

“Hah?

“If it were me, I would definitely reject a two-faced person like you.”

“I don’t want to be told that by a crybaby.”

“Really? You’re calling who a baby?”

“You sure run your mouth a lot. Don’t think you can compare me to when I was a brat.”

“Shut up, perverted trash. You bear-patterned-brief-wearing bastard!”

“Hey, don’t you dare start talking about briefs!”

ーーWell, there they go again. Since the three started meaninglessly fighting as per usual, I saw an opening and attempted to escape. However, Fuji grabbed me by the base of my neck and returned me to my original position.

“Hey, why are you trying to sneak away?”

“Do you not see that we’re quarreling over you?”

Over me, they say.

I never asked for it nor have I ever wanted it. If you were to ask me who I belonged to, then I would say that I belonged to no one. Oh how good it would feel to say that.

However, if I were to say that, the treatment I would face would be unimaginable. With how long I’ve lived with them, eventually one comes to understand that.

“You’re such a bad girl, Miss Housekeeper. Were you trying to escape again? I thought I already taught you that there is no escaping us the day you came into this house.”

“You’ve been with us for two years, yet it looks like you still haven’t learned.”

I shook my head from side-to-side for I already knew it all too much. However, there’s no point in saying anything to those guys once their switch has been flipped.

It too is one of the things I’ve learned during the two years I’ve lived at the Saionji house.

“You know, with knowing how you’ve lasted, it makes me wonder if you’re actually doing this on purpose.”

Gen’s unexpected comment pulled all my thought process to a halt. Of course it wasn’t on purpose.

“I get it now. You’re provoking us on purpose.”

“That’s what it looks like. You keep doing the same thing no matter how many times we tell you.”

“Ha! What a one of a kind woman you are.”

“In other words, Miss Housekeeper here was aiming for this from the start?”

My desperate denials were futile. Ran lifted me up and pushed me down onto the sofa.

“Miss Housekeeper, what do you want to do? We can go take a bath if you want.”

“I want to have a shower.”

“Also, hurry up and take that off already. It’s uncomfortable staying like that.”

“In that case, why don’t we get ourselves freshened up? Though I don’t mind staying dirty either.”

“Ugh. Ran reeks of an old man, I feel so disgusted.”

“Right? I have goosebumps.”

Ran objected to them, being all like “why?” Still, I wanted to get myself out of this situation, so I put strength into my restrained arms and twisted my body.

Having witnessed that, Gen proceeded to drag his fingers across my cheek.

“But well, with how much of a fight she’s putting up, it’s hard to be certain. ……It’s cute when you’re on the verge of tears.”

“Then, let’s have you choose, Miss Housekeeper. Would you prefer to stay like this? Or would you like to take a bath? Your choice.”

I dislike either option, but such a concept doesn’t in the minds of these people.

“If you’re aren’t gonna answer, then we’ll force an answer out of you.”

I could hear Fuji’s low voice in my ear. And there was no way to push away the hand stretched out towards me.

“You’re so sly, Miss Housekeeper. You always deceive us through such means.”

“You say that we’re selfish, but did you know that you’re the most selfish one of us all?”

This time it was Gen who slowly robbed me of my lips. My brain paralyzed by my burning body as I attempted to make a calm judgment.

“Come on, say it with that mouth of yours. I’m sure you’re able to at least tell us what you want, right?”

Fuji’s voice was gentle, but his tone did not allow refusal. “No,” I muttered quietly. But sure enough, it reached no one.

Before I could continue off and say “forgive me,” Fuji had already sealed my lips.

“I wonder what’ll become of you today?”

Ran whispered into my ears. Pretending not to notice my racing heart, I shut my eyes――.
