Track 1: Watase Makoto

[0:23]

They look similar…

Umm, excuse me. Ah, hey, please wait!!!

I’m not a con man nor a playboy. Though, I guess it can’t be helped that you find me suspicious.

Is this your mother shown on the license?

The name Chizuko and the date of birth match up, right? And they closely resemble you too.

[1:00]

Oh, they’ve already passed away. My condolences.

The question of why I’m in possession of this…in any case, I’d like to give you a detailed explanation, so is it possible for us to move over to a place where we can talk slowly? For example, a family restaurant…?

Thank you. How about we head over to that cafe?

[1:41]

I’ll take a coffee. What about you?

Two coffees please then.

[1:53]

Please allow me to introduce myself, I’m Watase Makoto. I don’t have a job yet so please take my license in the stead of an ID.

This lets you understand that I’m not suspicious, right?

Thank you.

I’ll quickly start talking. It’s a bit umm…

I mean, there’s a bunch of complicated circumstances surrounding everything so I don’t if I can’t explain it all properly.

[2:34]

I’d like to say that I believe your father is Toudzuka Kazuhito, my uncle-in-law. In other words, the uncle of my sister’s husband.

I’m sorry but can you save your questions for later? I’d like to tell you about Kazuhito first.

Thank you.

As I was saying, Kazuhito had been carefully safeguarding Ms. Chizuko’s license and point-and-shoot camera. And here is the camera and the films developed from it.

Since a long time has passed, only these two were able to be developed successfully.

Even then the colors were poor so I scanned and processed them with photo-editing software.

The person photographed at the cove…and riding together in this car is the same woman depicted in the license photo. In other words, it’s your mother, isn’t it?

[3:46]

As expected, I was not mistaken.

Kazuhito has already passed away so I can only imagine the rest but…I’m thinking that your mother traveled alone in her car and visited a mountain village known as the Hafuri Village. There she met Kazuhito and fell in love with him.

And from there, she must’ve become pregnant with you.

[4:21]

Kazuhito was umm, in a situation where he couldn’t leave his hometown so he had no choice but to part from your mother who was working in Tokyo. In addition, Ms. Chizuko didn’t choose the path of remaining within the village and marrying Kazuhito.

I believe those were the reasons why she raised you alone.

Ah, no, please don’t worry about that.

Kazuhito was unmarried his whole life and didn’t have any lovers other than your mother.

Just that, Kazuhito’s hometown, the village known as the Hafuri Village has a lot of umm…

It doesn’t accept outsiders so it’s a restricted village even now. Plus, Kazuhito held an important role within the village and being unable to abandon his hometown, I imagine that the two had no choice but to separate.

[5:29]

So what did your mother say of your father?

Only that there were reasons why they couldn’t marry? So you must’ve always thought of yourself as a child born to someone who already had a wife.

I wish I could’ve met you sooner but it’s only been 2 years since I first heard of this.

From there, I searched for you desperately but it was extremely difficult as an amateur to which I sincerely apologize.

Oh, the coffees have arrived.

[6:21]

Here, I’ll return the photos and cameras to you so go ahead and store them away.

It appeared that Kazuhito cherished and referred to these mementos as his treasures until his death.

I’m glad you’re happy.

[6:47]

Ah, I knew it, city coffee tastes good.

That’s right, I never really left my hometown much. My hometown was a village that neighbored the Hafuri Village but it was just as rural.

I did want to go to the cities but my parents told me that it was absolutely forbidden.

That said, please forget about me. Let’s return back on topic.

[7:21]

Your father, Kazuhito, handed those treasures to his nephew, his sister’s child, before his death.

However, the nephew was still too young back then, and unfortunately, he forgot about it entirely it seems.

Kazuhito’s nephew is Toudzuka Kazuomi and my older sister’s husband. So to you, he’d be your cousin.

Kazuomi and my sister were never able to conceive a child.

My sister later died of illness and after being left behind Kazuomi was eventually struck with cancer during the remaining years of his life, and that is where he finally remembered about the treasure.

[8:07]

Kazuomi is the only one left of the Toudzuka family.

Kazuomi was Kazuhito’s…

Umm, he asked me to investigate thinking that there might’ve been a child related to Kazuhito with his separated lover.

Though I say that I’m a part-time wannabe farmer so I don’t have any investigative abilities.

Although I developed the films inside the camera, there was nothing photographed that could be used as a clue. So all I had to work with was the information on the license.

I did attempt to visit the address listed on the license in the beginning but I was chased away by your grandmother saying that they don’t know anything about this so-called “daughter.”

[8:54]

I see, so you didn’t know you had a grandmother.

At that point, I gave up and told Kazuomi that it was impossible without a professional investigator, but he told me that everything had to be off-the-records.

So, I began using the internet and spent 2 years desperately searching.

And now, I’ve finally reached you.

[9:35]

Kazuomi wishes for you to inherit his fortune and succeed the Toudzuka name.

However, the conditions are that you have to be adopted by Kazuomi and live as a Toudzuka.

I’ve received a breakdown from Kazuomi so please take a look at it if you’d like.

It would be easy for me to tell you to just take it if it was just money but that’s not the case when you have to move homes, right? And you’ve got a job too.

I wish I could tell you to take your time to consider, but frankly, Kazuomi doesn’t have long to live. There are no plans for any more life-prolonging treatment so it’d be great if you could be as quick as possible.

I’ll be staying in a business hotel in Shibuya for the time being so I’ll be waiting for your reply.

Let me tell you my phone number and hotel.

Err, paper, and pen…

[10:38]

Send it to your phone wirelessly? I’m fine with it but you’ll end up sending me your contact information as well you know?

It’s fine? Then let’s exchange contacts.

Please point your infrared port this way.

Thank you. Is it okay for me to contact you if something happens on my end?

It won’t anger your boyfriend?

Eh? You don’t have a boyfriend? That’s unexpected.

[11:18]

You’re unpopular…? It doesn’t look that way to me, though.

Me? I’m not popular either.

It might be because my standards are high. I mean, I’d like someone like you as my girlfriend. Someone with a mature woman type of vibe.

I’m thinking that it’d be nice to have someone who earnestly works hard at their job as a girlfriend.

[11:53]

Ah! Sorry for taking up so much of your time, you must be tired after leaving work.

I’m being a bother, aren’t I?

Really?

Then can we go out to eat together? I’m starving and I’ve got more things to tell you too.

It’s decided then. Do you know of any good restaurants around here? If so, please guide me there.

Track 2: Thirteen Beats

[0:08]

Sorry for calling you out so suddenly. You said that your workplace was close to Shibuya, so I thought this place would be better since there’re tons of good restaurants here.

Thank you for accompanying me for dinner three days ago. It was the first time I’d ever had so much fun eating together with a girl.

Oh, I accidentally talked about something different.

Yes, I have something important to say.

Kazuomi has passed away as his condition suddenly worsened.

Thank you.

[0:54]

Ah, no, I’m fine. Although he was my sister’s husband, we never interacted much except in regards to his worries about securing an heir and his desire for me to find you faster.

No, please don’t apologize, there’s no way you’d be able to respond to all this in a few days.

It’s simple if it’s just assets but becoming the heiress of such a rural household is pushing it. That’s why I kept quiet about finding you.

Just that, because Kazuomi wasn’t able to adopt you, the situation has changed a bit.

I was told the contents of Kazuomi’s will.

If Kazuhito’s child is found within 10 months of Kazuomi’s death, after marrying, that child will succeed the Toudzuka family and live with their partner at the Hafuri Village. Those are the conditions set for the inheritance of his full fortune.

[2:05]

Kazuomi doesn’t have any other legal heirs so everything will go to you.

Oh, uh, I was already paid a decent commission for accepting the request to find you. But well, having to marry within 10 months and being forced to live in such a rural area is a ridiculous condition.

Although he has left behind a hefty amount of assets, isn’t it better if you refuse?

Money is important but the person you marry is even more so.

[2:45]

There’s no need to worry about the Toudzuka household, as the saying goes, everything that has a beginning has an end. It can’t really be helped if they crumble.

The important role that Kazuhito held?

I apologize but I don’t know much about it, just that there is a particular duty that only men born into the Toudzuka family have.

Rural places have these complicated workings, don’t they?

But isn’t it fine not to worry? You’re a woman.

Though, if you do join the Toudzuka family and take on a husband, that husband will be assigned that role.

[3:42]

Hehe. You have 10 months this time around.

There’s plenty of time so please consider it carefully. And if you find someone you like during that period, you might not care about the assets anymore.

[4:00]

Is something the matter?

Oh, what? It’s nothing, eh.

That said, I’d be jealous if you do find someone you like. You’d probably fall in love with a mature and wonderful man, and not a brat like me.

What’s that? You don’t like upstanding people? Could it be that you like deadbeats?

Then how am I wrong?

Secret, huh. Haha.

Well, let’s keep it at that then.

[4:55]

However, on the off-chance that you do fall in love with me…isn’t that exactly like your parents? …Our roles are reversed, though.

Your mother met Kazuhito at the cove and fell in love after sensing it was fate.

And I left the countryside and met you in the cities.

See? It’s the same, right?

[5:35]

Why are you turning red I wonder?

But well, I’d like to talk to you about that again later so would you like a drink of wine?  I’m feeling the urge to drink, are you not the same?

I suddenly forced a bunch of things onto your mind so are you not feeling deflated?

Then let’s drink to our fullest tonight. Tomorrow’s Saturday so you have the day-off, right?

Ah! Excuse me, a bottle of your recommended wine, please.

Track 3: Pair’s Delight

[0:08]

Oh, that was good.

It’s already past 1 a.m. It’s so fun being around with you that time passes by in the blink of an eye-

What about the last train!?

Eh? Is there none?

I’m so sorry, I didn’t think about when the last trains were since we only traveled by car in my hometown.

Huh? You’ll return by taxi? You’re leaving?

[0:46]

No leaving yet. If you’re going to leave, you’re leaving with me.

I can’t always be with you?

I want to be together with you, and not just for tonight, but well into the future. I fell in love with you, you see.

It’s not a lie, it’s the truth.

You’re much older than me? What’s with that? That doesn’t matter.

If that’s what you’re going to say then I don’t think I can be seen as a partner since I’m much younger than you. That said, I couldn’t not confess…because I want to be with you forever.

[2:07]

I think we’re similar.

I, who was trapped in the suffocating countryside and stripped of freedom, and you, who became unable to move about in this city, have grown tedious of repeating the same daily routines and wish to set off to some place that isn’t here.

Is that not how you feel?

That’s surely why I…

Hey, am I no good?

Then, do you like me?

[3:44]

Let’s head to my room.

[3:50]

I’m happy.

[4:27]

Come here.

I love you.

[5:00]

My heart’s really pounding.

[5:39]

Don’t stiffen up so much.

It’s your first time?

Oh, that’s how it was. That was your first time kissing too.

That makes me happy.

[6:29]

I’ll be gentle. I’ll stop right away if it hurts or is uncomfortable.

Your chest is rising and falling super fervently.

How cute.

Don’t turn your face away.

[8:03]

Does it feel good?

That’s a relief.

It’ll become easier once it starts feeling good.

And your lower half too.

[8:59]

You’re wet.

Thank god. You’re properly aroused because of me, and you’re indeed feeling it.

Can you tell? This is where I’ll be entering.

[10:15]

Are you about to cum?

Cum, cum from my fingers. From mine, your first man’s finger.

[11:09]

You came, right?

Jeez, you’re so cute that I can’t endure it any longer.

[11:52]

I’m putting it in.

I’ll do it slowly so please tell me if it hurts. Because it might hurt more with the condom, I do it as is and cum outside.

[12:23]

So tight.

Does it not hurt? Are you okay?

You’re saying you’re fine even though it’s painfully tight for me. There’s no way it doesn’t hurt.

I’m sorry, I wasn’t able to stop in the middle.

When I see the look of you bearing the pain for my sake, I can’t.

[13:38]

It feels good when I rub against this place, right?

That’s great. I’m so happy that I can’t help myself because I’m taking the first time of a person I love. And so, please come to love me even more.

Please stay with me forever.

Please go out with me.

[14:55]

I love you.

This and that don’t matter, I’m already…

[15:38]

I’m cumming.

I love you. It feels almost too good.

[17:01]

Eh? W-Wait, don’t cry. Did it hurt a lot like I thought?

Uh, I’m so sorry.

You’re crying tears of joy…? Jeez, you really scared me there.

You’re glad your first time was with me?

If you say that, I’ll start crying too.

[18:00]

That’s how much I love you too, so…let’s get married.

Naturally, you-

Ah, I ended up saying you. But well, that doesn’t matter anymore, right?

Umm, in any case, when I think about how you might have to take some other man as your husband for the sake of the Toudzuka family, I just couldn’t stand it.

I don’t wish to hand you over to anyone.

[18:46]

If it’s me, even if I were to become your husband…

I mean, I’m already somewhat knowledgeable about that village and I can fulfill those duties one way or another. That said, it’d be difficult for men from other regions, no? Especially men from the cities.

And that’s why I’ll still be willing to become your husband even if you were to succeed the Toudzuka family.

But if you’d prefer to continue living in Tokyo then I’ll live in Tokyo with you.

So hey, please note tie the knot with me.

[19:30]

My parents?

Don’t worry, don’t worry, they’re bugging me to hurry up and get married.

I may be only twenty but all my classmates are married and have kids. And so, there’s no reason to worry about my parents, if they refuse initially then I’ll definitely convince them otherwise.

On that note…I came inside so that you’d say yes.

[20:05]

I want you to give birth to my child.

In any case, that’s how deeply in love I am with you. So please forgive me, that’s how badly I wish to bind you to me.

Well, please marry me.

Track 4: Hafuri Village

[0:12]

I’m sure it was taken at the cove but was it taken inside the cavern I wonder?

!?

Isn’t this the exact angle? Look, the picture of the ocean was taken from the inside the cavern.

It’s here, isn’t it? This is where your mother was photographed.

In other words, there might’ve been photos that your mother and Kazuhito took together that couldn’t be developed.

So this is where they met, huh.

[0:56]

Since they were going out secretly, this might be their secret meeting place. This cave is just right for that.

Romantic?

I guess so. Your meeting with me was super romantic, wasn’t it?

I’m glad we came to visit the Hafuri Village where your parents met together. And it put you in high spirits too.

As for my parents. Well, it was completely fine, wasn’t it? If anything they were overjoyed.

You worry too much.

[1:56]

We’ll combine the ceremony and the honeymoon and invite only my parents, and it’ll take place in Hawaii.

Ah, I’m so looking forward to it.

That said, are you sure about this? Are you serious about succeeding the Toudzuka family and quitting your job?

You’ve worked hard all this time so I guess it’s fine for you to relax here.

We don’t know when we’ll have kids, though.

But is it not so?

[2:42]

It’s been one month since I first had sex with you. For countless and countless, I’ve…

Hey, let’s have sex here.

No point in saying no. After all, there’s no one who’d come to such a remote village and I can’t hold back any longer.

If you can become happy here then I’m sure your mother would…

[3:51]

Hmm? It’s nothing. I just wanted to say that your mother would be at peace if you are happy.

I’ll shift your underwear aside and insert it from the back, okay?

Place your hands on the wall.

[5:01]

Aah…you’ve become incredibly lewd.

I see. Yes, yes, it’s my fault. All of it. Including what’ll happen from now on.

[5:53]

What is it?

Oh, my duties if I were to become the husband of a member of the Toudzuka?

Don’t worry about it, it’s nothing important. More importantly, I just want to be together with you so I wanted to marry you as fast as possible. I don’t care whether you’re a Toudzuka woman or not.

[7:00]

Hey, turn this way. Let me kiss you.

[7:33]

Like I thought, you’re quick to cum when you’re kissed.

I love that part of you too. The way you’re a worrywart and straightforward, all of it. And the way you persevered and survived alone too.

Let’s cum together. I’m about to cum too.

I’m cumming!

[9:06]

Just now……

It’s the cry of the Nue Bird. I think its actual name was Scaly Thrush.

There weren’t really any in the village where I’m from but they exist in the Hafuri Village, huh.

Track 5: Enshrinement of Both Love and Grief

[0:06]

I left the management to my parents for the time being, but as expected, it’s so vast that there aren’t enough hands on deck.

Sorry that we can’t live like a newly married couple.

You’re right, we can slowly delve into it and make it easier to handle.

Like you said, let’s turn this room with the best sunlight into our master bedroom. And so, the one on the left will be your room and let’s make one on the right, my room.

As for the rest…

Oh, I’ll be the one to greet the neighbors later.

[0:58]

Don’t worry, I’m from the neighboring village. Although I came with my sister when she was married, I was no different from an outsider so I’ll go speak to them first.

About what a serious, earnest, and wonderful person you are, of course.

That way, both the Toudzuka family and the Hafuri Village will be at peace.

[1:25]

Are you still worried about what the elderly by the roadside were whispering about?

Just ignore it like nothing happened.

Oh, the Nues’ are crying again.

There might be some in the garden, shall we go check?

[2:14]

Hey, there doesn’t seem to be any in the garden.

That said, it is vast, there’s this much land even beyond the garden.

Hmm? Huh? Over there’s the shrine.

You see, Kazuhito’s mother, in other words, your grandmother, would offer prayers there. That was the power that they appeared to have.

And following that…

One of these is the keys to it so let’s go in.

[3:17]

Aside from the altar, it’s a normal hut.

Where are the lights…?

There’s only light coming from the lattice windows by the entrance and during the night they only had these red candles?

In a place like this, how many years did my sister have to…

My sister…my sister was confined here for years on end and was simply raped by her husband every night!!!

[4:25]

Sisterーー

Sorry for suddenly…

But, my sister ended up being enshrined as the Hafuri Village’s living god by her husband, Kazuomi.

I had always found it suspicious from the very beginning ever since the moment that Kazuomi said that he’d take my sister as his bride.

My sister admired her cousin, Kazuomi. And Kazuomi used my sister’s feelings for his own benefit.

[5:16]

I’m sorry, you don’t know what any of this means, right? When I bring it up so suddenly.

However, for my sister to have died while locked up by her husband…I just couldn’t say it.

Kazuomi was the Hafuri Village’s sacrifice.

Toudzuka men have been sacrificed for the Hafuri Village for generations, and live as sacrifices. That’s the custom of the tradition-ridden Hafuri Village.

See? It makes you go “hah!?” doesn’t it? The fact that there are sacrifices in this country in this day and age.

However, this village believes it. They believe that the Toudzuka would become sacrifices and take the Hafuri Village’s calamities upon themselves.

From there, the sacrifice would enshrine their wife as the living god, as the sacrifice of the sacrifice.

[6:47]

The wives that were enshrined as living gods were confined here for the rest of their lives and were made to pray for the village’s safety by shaking that Kagura Suzu from earlier.

And once it’s night, they’d be violated by their husbandsーthat’s all they were allowed to do.

Even if they gave birth to a child, they can’t even raise them themselves.

That’s why Kazuomi, the final sacrifice, searched for you.

What was important to Kazuomi wasn’t the assets or the Toudzuka family itself, it was the next sacrifice and living god.

[7:42]

That’s right, I, as the husband of you who’ve succeeded the Toudzuka family, have become the next sacrifice.

It’s what all the old folks in Hafuri Village think.

And you, as my wife……

I just can’t bring myself to do it, though!!!

I’ll confess. I resented Kazuomi and the Toudzuka family. I hated the Kazuomi who treated my sister so cruelly and pushed her to her death.

I thought it was great that they didn’t have any children.

However, Kazuomi said that there still should be a child who carries the Toudzuka blood and so he made me search for Kazuhito’s child.

[8:48]

When I found you, I thought of it as a chance.

I’d seduce you, have you inherit the Toudzuka fortune, and eat it all away.

It was great that you chose to succeed the Toudzuka family. The shitty tradition that had countless women locked up as custom and the people bound and sacrificed for the sake of the village will no longer exist.

Even if the Toudzuka family collapses, even so, it’s…

But in the end, I wanted to take over the Toudzuka I despite and make it mine. And I led you into saving the Toudzuka household.

[9:50]

I wasn’t afraid of being the sacrifice.

Although Kazuomi had an untimely deathly, that’s ultimately superstition. Even if they’re the sacrifice, it’s not like they’re killed by the villagers, it’s just that they’d become the substitute for the village when the forewarnings of disaster are heard.

That’s why if you ignore the superstitions you can live a normal life.

However, if I, as the sacrifice, don’t enshrine you as the living god, I don’t know what the villagers might do.

The villages don’t just believe in the sacrifice, but also the living god.

So in a situation where there is no living god, they can’t help but be anxious. They yearn for a living god.

You heard what they were whispering earlier, didn’t you?

[10:57]

Hey, like I thought, let’s run away. I can’t bear to lock you up in here!!!

Eh? Your mother?

Your mother wasn’t enshrined.

Although Kazuhito was the sacrifice, I’m sure he wasn’t able to bring himself to enshrine your mother and that’s why they broke up.

[11:49]

What are you saying!? Don’t say that.

Toudzuka will become mine, that you’ll be making up for the share of your mother who was loved by a sacrifice, and that you’ll always be needed by me…PLEASE DON’T GO OFF SAYING SUCH THINGS!!!

I love you. I’m truly, seriously in love with you so let’s escap-

I don’t know how the enshrinement works!!!

Just that Kazuomi said to me…he said to me that I’d know once I came to the shrine with the wife I love. He said this to me who resented him being at fault for my sister’s death, “It is precisely because you love them that you wish to make them a living god.”

[13:55]

I mustn’t embrace you here.

But even though that’s what I sense…I want you so badly that I can’t endure it.

[14:55]

My hips…

What is this? Why are you saying that it’s fine for you to be enshrined?

Were you that lonely? Did you want to be desired that badly?

You lived alone in Tokyo without anyone to rely on and wanted to be dragged along to some place that isn’t here.

Were you that happy to be wanted and loved by me?

[16:27]

Yes, I’ll make you into a living god. Hafuri Village aside, I’ll make it so that you’re worshipped and offered prayers by an even greater number of people as my living god.

The Kagura Suzu?

You’ve now…become the living god, haven’t you?

!?

[17:50]

Don’t tell me that this is…

This is the sound of impending disaster.

Hehe. HahahaHAHAHA!!! HAHAHA!!!!! Come, calamity, the sacrifice is right here. Hahaha!!!

However, I won’t die, I’ll take upon as many as needed. And then, I’ll reside here forever. Hahaha!!!

The living god’s the same, they’ll stay with me forever until we’re both old grannies and geezers.

[19:21]

I’ll cum amidst the signs of calamity into the insides of my living god.

You cum too, my living god, my beloved living god.

Track 6: For the Sake of the Hafuri Village

[0:06]

As the husband of a Toudzuka, I’ve become the sacrifice and enshrined a new living god, so please rest at ease.

Everyone, please kindly listen to the timbre of the Kagura Suzu as the heiress of the Toudzuka family, the living god with Toudzuka blood flowing through her veins, prays zealously.

Despite taking yesterday’s disaster upon this body, I came out unscathed due to the living god’s protection.

The power of the new living god is tremendous, so revere and respect them ever more than before.

ーーEverything is for the sake of the Hafuri Village’s peace and tranquility.

I feel that this series will work well as a horror visual novel, like a distant relative of the Toudzuka family comes to this Hafuri Village to discover more about their family and then slowly discover all this crazy ritual stuff that goes on and tries to escape alive without being drag in the mess.

Kazuomi died from cancer and his wife died of some sort of other illness, whether that has anything to do with them being the sacrifice and the living god/sacrifice-for-the-sacrifice is up to your interpretation.
